NomadikOpen Mic Host and DJ
Nomadik is a key player in the coming Gallery Performance Series. She will be facilitating and hosting the open mic series that will offer emerging artists and performers a platform for their talent. Her expertise at drawing and managing a crowd is well known. And her heart to support artists is obvious.
DJ Nomadik has been Djing since 2000 and plays any type of music for all ages in any setting including: corporate parties, birthday parties and club events. DJ Nomadik has won awards and appeared on various panels in Boston and NY, speaking on the art of DJing.
Nomadik has been a Hip Hop/R & B/Reggae & Jazz DJ for over 17 years. During that time she has hosted radio shows on WERS (88.9fm) & WMBR (88.1fm) in the Boston area. She has DJed in various venues throughout the Greater Boston area, & occupied residencies at the Good life in Boston, the Milky Way in Jamaica Plain, at the Cambridge Caribbean Festival and at Boston’s Jerk Fest to name a few. Nomadik has DJed various weddings, birthday parties and corporate parties including: Jet Blue, Emerson College, Harvard University and Berklee College of Music and more.
In addition to her DJing, Nomadik founded SoulKore Productions which organizes, promotes, manages artists for the Boston area & beyond. SoulKore has been creating shows & events on an on-going basis since 2001. Their first party (just 2 weeks after 9-11 tragedy) sold out within the 1st hour at the original House of Blues (now on Landsdowne St.) Since then, SoulKore has gone on to produce various events in New England. Nomadik her first tour “The Time Travel Tour” in 2007. She was featured in boston’s Weekly Dig Magazine as one of Boston’s core DJs (7/18-7/24/2007). In the same year, She won Best Promoter of the year at Boston’s M.I.C. hip hop awards. Nomadik won 2009 Urban music award for best female DJ and was recently nominated for THE FAB AWARDS – Best DJ in Boston! Award winning female DJ, “Nomadik” resides in Boston, MA USA. Grace Julian Murthy is an award winning designer and painter in the Greater Boston area. She believes art should be in every place and a part of the every day. Her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions around the Boston area. She is inventive, hard working, and a pleasure to work with.

Yinh KieferEvent Planner, Fundraiser
A strategic thinker with a love for the arts, farming, community, and holistic healthcare.
Herself a massage therapist, Yinh also plays guitar, sings, writes songs, and has expertise in fundraising and working in the nonprofit sector.
Her mind is super valuable as it synthesizes crazy far-out visionary grandiosity so that the next steps are in the ballpark of doable.
Yinh is proprietor of Silvertree Center for Healing Arts, LLC.
Ose SchwabFounder, Event Planner
Ose Schwab is a creative visionary with a deep love for humanity and an appreciation for science and the arts as vital tools in society. She is a committed community member of Malden and loves discovering the human treasure that seems to be clustered in Malden. Ose has experience in the high tech and nonprofit worlds. She brings this and a design sense to the work of Malden Creates.
When not instigating something community and arts related, she may be found in the MATV studio with her co-host Papi, interviewing a local artist or performer for her podcast Culture Matters, biking to Boston, amused by her son or husband, or playing violin in some jam session.
Malden Creates offers event planning for occasions that relate to Malden, happen in Malden, or feature individuals connected to Malden.
